Katie Novak is a theatrical artist/carpenter, designer, and stage manager from the Chicagoland area who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre Production Design & Technology from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.

As an artist, Katie prides herself on her diverse skillset in multiple areas of theatrical production and strives to grow her knowledge and talent in a multifaceted capacity.

Some of Katie's most recent notable projects include working as the Props Designers for the Citadel Theatre's 2023 production of The Mousetrap; multiple seasons with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival where she has worked as the Prop Shop Manager, Changeover Supervisor, and Carpenter; Charge Artist for Mother Courage & Her Children at Illinois State University; Stage Manager for the 2021 Spring Dance Concert: Emergence; and ASM/Calling Stage Manager for the 2022 Fall Dance Concert: interACTION at Illinois State University.
